Description
Somewhere between furniture and sculpture stands the Theo console table. Four playful faux bois figures in heavily textured cast iron, finished in black, run between a rectangular top and base of wire-brushed quartered white oak veneers in a Cerused Greige finish.
The pairing is what makes it work: rough iron against pale cerused oak, 64 inches wide but only 16 inches deep, standing 32.75 inches tall. That slim footprint fits behind a sofa, in an entry in Ventnor, or along a dining room wall in Absecon – one memorable piece instead of several forgettable ones.
Our Northfield showroom keeps comparable Bernhardt case pieces to view, and a visit is worth it before committing to a console this distinctive.
