La-Z-Boy Brooks Reclining Sofa – Tailored, Not Overstuffed

Reclining sofas tend to announce themselves – big arms, overstuffed backs, a footprint to match. The Brooks takes the opposite road: a thinner back and smaller arm posts give it a tailored, modern silhouette that doesn’t broadcast what it can do.

What it can do is flexible. Latch releases on the outside arms adjust the left and right backs and legrests independently, and you can recline the back without raising the legrest at all – a small trick that adds real range. Chaise seating supports you head to heel, and La-Z-Boy scales this one for sitters roughly 5’4″ to 5’9″. It measures 84 inches wide and is built in the USA, with custom covers available.

Between Avalon beach houses and Galloway family rooms, the Brooks is the reclining sofa for people who didn’t think they wanted one.
