Sit in this Morrison Sand next to the Morrison Sand Triple Power at Northfield if you’re deciding between manual and powered – the frame feel is identical; the mechanism decision is really about how you’ll use it.
Questions & Answers
What’s the difference between this and the Morrison Sand Triple Power?
Identical frame and fabric. The manual version uses a side-handle mechanism with three fixed positions. The Triple Power adds independent motorized control over headrest, footrest, and recline angle.
Does the Sand fabric hide pet hair?
Sand hides light pet hair (blond, cream) reasonably. Dark pet hair (black cats, dark dogs) will show. For heavy pet households, ask about performance-fabric options.
How does the Morrison Sand compare to Jasper?
Same generous scale, but the Morrison has a tufted back cushion instead of Jasper’s stitched pillow back. Reads slightly more traditional than the Jasper.
Does it rock at rest?
Yes – rocker base moves smoothly with the chair closed. Standard La-Z-Boy rocker mechanism.
How is this priced compared to the powered version?
The manual Sand at $937 is about $700 less than the Sand Triple Power at $1649. The mechanism difference is what you’re paying for.
